When I read the PSFC’s Strategic Roadmap I feel confused and sad.
When I read: “The actions of a variety of large institutions that shape mental health care in the U.S. will determine whether and how psychedelics are integrated into mainstream care.” I feel sad and confused.
I feel confused because of the Sherman Anti-Trust Act of 1890.
I feel sad because large institutions that shape mental health care in the U.S profit from the current mental health care system.
When I read: “There is potential for much more advocacy, as veterans are also a highly organized constituency, with major veteran organizations (e.g., American Legion) in a position to wield significant influence, if and when they can be activated to do so” I feel confused.
I feel confused because I was activated when I deployed to Iraq.
I feel confused because my mother was activated when she deployed to Afghanistan.
I feel confused because my brother was activated when he deployed to the ocean on an aircraft carrier.
I feel confused because we’ve already been activated in a billionaire’s trade war.
When I realize that psychedelic advocates, activists and organizations outside of the PSFC network are overworked and underfunded I feel sad, annoyed, confused and broke.
I feel sad because billionaire trade wars leave a path of destruction for community leaders to clean up.
I feel annoyed because when a cartel exits, who is responsible for cleaning up their destruction?
I feel sad because highly respected community leaders are getting their Meta Accounts suspended.
I feel confused because Meta has not been held to account.
I feel sad because cartel tactics increase demand - i.e. Public Health Education - and then reduce supply by charging high prices, i.e. Oregon and Colorado.
I feel sad because people with limited means need help first, not last.
I feel annoyed because Peyote growers in Texas are sounding the alarm on being able to meet demand for other states.
I feel sad because the word marginalized is mentioned 21 times in the PSFC’s Strategic Roadmap.
I feel confused because PSFC funded research is white male focused.
I feel confused because of the NIH Revitalization Act of 1993.
I feel sad because marginalized is a financial term.
I feel confused because of the Department of Homeland Security.
I feel confused because of the War on Terror.
I feel confused because the PSFC attempts to utilize war strategy, except for the patient triage that real soldiers do.
I feel sad because a sexual assault occurred in a PSFC funded trial.
I feel confused because the PSFC has not been held to account.
I feel sad because after reporting sexual assault, independent media was the target of a media attack by the New York Times.
I feel confused because the New York Times has not been held to account.
I feel confused because of the Federal Trade Commission.
I feel confused because it appears as if the PSFC is funding whistleblower retaliation under the premise of ‘Veteran Healing’.
I feel confused because of Department of Defense Sexual Assault Prevention Programs.
I feel confused because I have a need for the PSFC network to be held to full account to every law they broke to set an example for others who wish to follow in their footsteps.
I feel confused because I have a need for naturally occurring plants and fungi to be removed from DEA scheduling to prevent this from ever happening again.
I feel broke because I have a need for a refund for every prescription drug that has been sold to me since 1993 that does not meet the research quality standards outlined in the NIH Revitalization Act of 1993.
When a psychedelic movement breaks through a system of oppression I feel relief.
When cartel funding is redistributed to people and communities I feel happy.
When I start my period before starting a movement I feel responsible.
